IIMSR boasts a 750-bedded hospital that plays a central role in both student training and patient care. The hospital encompasses 22 specialized departments, a 24/7 Emergency and Trauma Care Unit, high-tech Intensive Care Units (MICU, ICCU, SICU, NICU, PICU), and a fully operational Blood Bank. Since admitting its first MBBS batch in 2013, IIMSR has been recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and has expanded to offer MD/MS programs in various specialties. The institute also provides specialized outpatient services in Urology, Medical Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, and Spine and Pain management.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, IIMSR was designated as a Level-III COVID facility by the Uttar Pradesh government. In response, the institute established a state-of-the-art BSL-2 lab, installed advanced Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) generators, and set up a substantial storage facility. IIMSR’s exceptional contributions during the pandemic earned it a Certificate of Appreciation from the district administration and the “Health ICON Award,” presented by Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna, Cabinet Minister for Finance, Parliamentary Affairs, and Medical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
